My husband recently bought me tickets for a once in a lifetime show of the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere in Las Vegas as an early Christmas present, so I couldn't help but take advantage of the foods and sights while I was there.

I hadn't been to Vegas in ten years, and although it had changed, some things remain the same.....the opportunity to taste the fantastic food scene and iconic sights, along with some new ones.

I'm a big Food Network fan, so the chance to go to any of the chef's locations in Vegas was the second highlight of my trip next to the Wizard of Oz showing.

First stop was Red 8 in the Wynn to have Chicken Pad Thai. I had my first Pad Thai there ten years ago and it was just as good this time around. My husband had their Mongolian Beef and he gave me a taste. That was great as well. Generous portions and great atmosphere.

The sights were just as amazing. The fall display at the Bellagio, the inside gondola ride at the Venetian, and the icing on the cake....the exhibit at the Arte Museum with the Waterfall Wall.

There were so many places that I wanted to eat at and see, but I couldn't fit them all in. Until next time Vegas!
